LoneSpeed Play of the Day

Whether you are playing in the BCBC and/or NHC contests on Horseplayers, or just trying to make a few bucks on your day off, there is a horse you might want to pay extra attention to in the 7th race at Woodbine.

Call Me Wally ran a ho-hum 4th at this class level on the synth in his last, which was his first start in 10 months.  And neither that 75 Beyer Speed Figure nor the 81 he earned in his final start last year will get the blood pumping.  But the synth-to-turf angle has yielded a nice ROI for this barn in the past, and they pulled this exact move with Call Me Wally in June 2017.  That move resulted in a win at this distance over this surface.  It feels like there is just enough early speed signed on here to give Call Me Wally the pace he needs to make his late kick effective.  At 6-1, he’s the play of the day for LoneSpeed.
